Soft Angles is a modular furniture system, offering a place for a short break or an informal meeting. It offers two seating heights - for leaning and lounging - making it possible to adapt the system to the exact needs of your space. It is designed with the desire to add sculptural value to an interior, defining zones with its bold curved lines and shielding wooden panels. The shape of the modules makes it possible to create long dynamic lines through a space as well as calm closed circles.
With this very clear idea for our design, the goal has been to minimize the climate footprint as much as possible, while staying true to the concept. We have been continuously discussing when an aesthetic or functional choice adds enough value to the design, to justify an increase of the climate footprint or not. By using the climate screening tool in our design process, all materials have been carefully selected to reduce the CO2 footprint.
