"Cardo" is a versatile, playful design that adapts to various settings and functions, allowing for endless configurations and color combinations. Whether used as a stool, table, or combined into a bench with storage, Cardo seamlessly integrates into its environment—indoors or outdoors—becoming part of the space or architecture. Its multifunctional design is perfect for informal workspaces, break areas, or casual gathering spots.
When developing the Cardo system, my focus was on sustainability. I aimed to minimize waste by using a single, highly recyclable material and maximizing machine efficiency to reduce the need for manual labor. The design is carefully crafted to optimize the use of a metal sheet, enabling the production of six Cardo stools/tables from just one sheet. This approach not only minimizes waste but also ensures a highly efficient, eco-conscious production process.
In addition to its flexibility, Cardo invites creativity through endless color combinations, allowing users to personalize their pieces to complement any space. Cardo embodies a blend of playful creativity and sustainable design, offering both functionality and flexibility while reducing environmental impact.
